Espanyol Striker Wu Lei Tested Positive Of The Coronavirus 1

Espanyol striker Wu Lei has been tested positive of the coronavirus,
the report in Marca says the striker has tested positive for
coronavirus, following the earlier revelation that his teammate Leandro
Cabrera had also being diagnosed.

Former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sans was also confirmed dead on Saturday as a result of the virus.

Six people at the Catalan club are now reportedly positive for
coronavirus, with five players and a backroom staff member rumoured to
be the victims.

Chinese football federation has since maintained close communication
with Espanyol and Wu Lei as the federation is set to provide all
necessary assistance as appropriate.

La Liga is yet to record any casualty both in the lower division,
Francisco Garcia, 21, was coach of the junior team of Malaga-based club
Atletico Portada Alta and had an unknown preexisting condition which was
later revealed to be a form of leukaemia.

The 21-year-old died on Sunday, making him the youngest person to have died from the coronavirus pandemic in Spain.
